You must be 18 years old or older to get tattooed.
A valid document with photo ID is required to verify your age.

Consultation and bookings

Consultations is vital in the dynamics of Bold Hearts Tattoo Lab, necessary in the process and clarify ideas for first timers with us, normally it takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the subjects. If you desire to proceed to an appointment a non-refundable deposit of €150–€250 is required to secure your booking and cover our preparation time for the tattoo, this deposit is subtracted at the final payment.
Missed appointments without 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit. In case of ongoing projects, a €250 fee will be added on your next session.

Hygiene, health and safety

We follow strict hygiene procedures according to the guidelines of the Municipal Public Health Service of the Netherlands (Gemeentelijke Gezondheidsdienst – GGD).
You must fill out a consent form to declare any medical conditions such as allergies, skin conditions, or prescribed medications before getting tattooed.
We have the right to refuse service to people under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Before care

Be aware that getting a tattoo is a painful process that requires a lot of focus and energy. In the days before your session, make sure you get proper rest and eat well.
Proper skin care helps improve the outcome of your tattoo. Use body lotion on the area to be tattooed in the days before your session.
Try to avoid a tight schedule. Stress does not contribute positively to your session.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes on the day of your appointment.

After care

Some tattoos require different aftercare. We will provide proper aftercare instructions in the atelier according to your tattoo.

Prices and payment

Prices or number of sessions are set basically by size and details, a mix with time of labour and how large is the piece, set during the consultation. The shop minimum is 250. For sleeves and back pieces a minimum price of 500 per session up to 3hours.
Payments must be made in cash.

Atelier policy

We maintain a respectful environment based on trust.
We do not tolerate racism, sexism, or any kind of hatred toward anyone in the atelier.
Companions are welcome but limited to one person. Please note that Bold Hearts has a controlled ambiance to guarantee an ideal environment and a good experience for everyone.
